stop romanticizing the idea of becoming so dependent on another human being that you cannot function adequately without their presence goodbye

Anonymous said: So you don't like Jennifer but you like someone who publicly cheated on her long time boyfriend with her married director and compared being photographed by the paparazzi to rape? I mean, I like Kristen but I don't get how Kristen's fans who are constantly going on about how the world/media is unfair to Kristen can turn around and criticise other stars for doing problematic things and not apologising. Kristen is a good actress but she has the worst fan base imo. You included.

the difference is that Kristen admits to her mistakes and learns from them, i said that in my other reply. when she compared being photographed by the paparazzi to rape, she realized it was wrong and apologized about it in an official statement:

"I really made an enormous mistake – clearly and obviously. And I’m really sorry about my choice of words.[…] ‘Violated’ definitely would have been a better way of expressing the thought. People thinking that I’m insensitive about this subject rips my guts out. I made a big mistake." (x)

same thing for the ‘cheating scandal’: she issued a public apology after that where she apologized to Rob and those affected. (IMO in this case it was not even necessary to publicly apologize because she didn’t harm the public. it was a mistake affiliated with her very personal life and unfortunately, it was made public by the media. but she still issued that statement and that shows how much she cares and also, what big pressure she was put under)

do you get what i mean? cheating doesn’t mean you’re a bad person, offending people doesn’t mean you’re a bad person. what does define you as a person is how you handle it afterwards. Kristen realized she made a mistake in both cases and this is what matters. meanwhile, i don’t have the impression that Jennifer ever cares how her words may harm other people. she literally CONSTANTLY says offensive things, it’s not even like she’s insensitive about certain issues or something, she’s just downright rude in my opinion. i feel like you could read/watch about any Jennifer Lawrence interview and find some highly offensive lines without even trying. i can’t believe some of the things she said, actually. she slut-shames ("I’m excited to be seen as sexy. But not slutty."), discredits bisexuality, makes fun of people who have the anxiety disorder OCD by calling it quirky and saying she wants a ‘cool quirk like that’, makes fun of introverted people ("Oh, I can’t stand shy people. Like, make it up already. Ask about the weather, don’t stare at your plate and make me feel like I’m making you uncomfortable!"), discredits female strength ("Katniss is strong, like a male hero with a vagina.") etc etc etc

she either is really dumb — which i doubt — or just really fucking rude and someone i don’t want to hang out with.

and i’m not saying she is the worst person ever, i just think people should fucking stop glorifying her because she is one of the most problematic celebrities out there IMO. what she said and says is not okay just because she is being funny about it, i think that makes it even worse

Can’t go over it.

Can’t go under it.

Can’t go around it.

Gotta go through it.

Trying to explain depression or anxiety to someone who’s never experienced it.

This belongs here.
